Installing Frameless Shower Doors

Shower doors – Measure the opening after installing the tiles. Take measurements at the base, to a height of 5 feet (1.5 m), and halfway. Record measurements with an accuracy of 1/16 inch (0.16 cm). Check plumb with a long level. If the opening is not plumb, determines where it should be the panel ‘s width or more narrow. Draw the top and front view of the shower. Complete the sketch with measurements. Bring the drawings and measurements with you when you buy the door.

Place the hinge in the center of the court for door hinge. Squeeze with your fingers and gently rear screws. Place the handles. Put the shower doors into position. Calza the door to make it a space of 3/8 inch (0.95 cm) at the bottom for the sweep. Mark the positions of the holes.

Use a drill 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) to drill the holes. Use wall anchors quality or perforates a beam. Insert the screws through the hinge on the wall with a drill. Start with the holes in the upper and lower outer outside. Vinyl installed to sweep the bottom of the glass door. Cut it at an angle of 45 degrees so that it is an extension of 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) on each side of the shower doors.
