Making Nightstands

Make your own bedside table is a great way to save money when it comes to enhance the decor of your bedroom. The nightstands, known in some places as “bureau”, standing beside your bed to hold lamps or books. They are not large, so objects like those mentioned above, or, watches and cell are placed.

  1. Measure the space where you give your bedroom nightstands. Note that if the nightstand is too large you will struggle to get on the bed. Record the length and breadth of the space, which is known as occupied surface.
  2. Go to a hardware store and ask about their games to bedside. Dale measures the charge of customer service and any questions you have, like wood finish.
  3. Leave parts for your bedside table on the floor, and uses a bowl screws and nuts, since they can lose very easily in a carpet and you could step on them later. Place the nuts and bolts manually to ensure that their sizes match and prevent parts from getting out of their places.
  4. Place the nightstands in the place you were considerate and make sure it is in both size and design. The bedside should not wobble when you put objects on it.
