Reline an Overstuffed Chairs

 

Overstuffed chairs – Measure each of the recliner and record all the information . You will need measures the left, right, front , back and seat. Record the height, width and depth if necessary. Add 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) at each measurement to the left, right, front and seat. Add 4 inches (10.16 cm) for measurement of the backrest. Fold the edges of each fabric to form a fold 1/4 inch (0.64 cm) and sew a hem with a needle and thread to create a neat finished edge.

Apply shampoo and clean the fabric of the chair if you think the new fabric glue directly on the other. If you want to get rid of the old fabric in the seams cut it with a cutter. Discard the old fabric and padding, if necessary. Cut the new fabric with scissors as amended measures. You must cut the cloth into pieces to follow the contour of the overstuffed chairs. Uses the chair as a template as short pieces.

Place fabric glue on the back of the fabric and press it firmly on the couch, smoothing wrinkles and bubbles if you leave the actual fabric intact. Otherwise, put glue on the batting and press it on the overstuffed chairs, arms and back. Then place the fabric glue.
